Maintaining Your System
With so many water systems out there, it's difficult to pin down how ALL systems should be maintained.
We have compiled basic maintenance schedules for your convenience.
If you have a complex system, or your system is not addressed below, feel free to call us for a consultation.
Filters:
Filters should be changed yearly.
If you notice a loss of pressure in the home, change the filters.
If you notice iron, sulfur, or sediment coming through, change the filters.
Water Softners:
Make sure your brine tank always has salt in it.
Check the tank about three times a year until you are familiar with how much salt your system uses.
Use Iron Out if you have iron in your water.
Reverse Osmosis System:
Change all filters once a year.
Membranes should be replaced every 2-5 years depending on usage.
When you change the membrane, make sure you replace the filters.
