What is Arsenic?
Arsenic is a naturally occuring semi-metal and is found across the country. Arsenic is tasteless and odorless and has been proven to be cancer-causing. It has also been found to be deposited by agricultural and industrial wastes.

Why is it bad?
Non-cancer effects can include thickening and discoloration of the skin, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, numbness in the hands and feet, partial paralysis, and blindess. Arsenic has been linked to cancer of the bladder, lungs, skin, kidney, nasal passages, liver and prostate. (reprinted from the EPA page on Arsenic)

Our AdvantEdge Arsenic Removal System is the best POE Arsenic Treatment System on the market. Arsenic permanently bonds to the special media inside the AdvantEdge System. Maintenance includes replacing the special media every five to ten years. Your source water characteristics may require other water treatment processes, please consult WaterPro to ensure proper equipment selection.
We have several POU options including:
A smaller filtration system called the Plus-As is designed for lower flow rates with a replacible filter cartridge. This system uses a combination of filtration, carbon media, and Arsenic adsorption media to remove Arsenic, cysts, lead, PCB's, VOC's and much more.
Our PureWaterMachine Reverse Osmosis system is equally suited for Arsenic reduction and removal. Reverse Osmosis (RO) purifies water by removing many dissolved minerals and gasses including Arsenic. If you consume a lot of water, RO may be the best option for you.
